Streets Are No Home Volunteer Brochure
Welcome to our webpage. This page is designed to inform you about our organization:"StreetsAreNoHome". We also have a website for more infomation: www.streetsarenohome.org.

Description:
Our website is designed to help raise money for the homeless. We are a charity group that wants to help the needy to have a warm cozy place to live because as we all know: Who wants to live on the streets? No one does! We are going to be holding fundraisers at multiple places that includes: Car washes, Bake sales, Lemanade Stands, product sales like Sally Foster, and lots more. So please join us to help the homeless and improve our country.

Goal:
Our goal is to help the unfortanate that have either lost their jobs and are now homeless. Thousands of people today are living on the streets of NYC struggling to survive and don't have a nice place to sleep. Streets are no home and home is not a street. So, if you truly believe in this, set a goal out for yourself like ours, and make a difference because we know you would like someone to help you if you’re having trouble.
Also, we are thriving on trying to find a good job suitable for each person so that they will be able to maintain their house so that it will not
be taken away from them.Help us target places like New York City to fight against broke people to help get their house back if they even have one. If they don’t, we need to get them one since like we said before, the streets are no home and a home is not a street.

Target Audience:
Our audience includes homeless families and people struggling to survive. The destination of our organization is mostly to help the homeless and poor on the streets of New York City. The people we are targeting to include:
-Unemployed adults
-Poor Families
-Runaway Children
We also are reaching out to people to help us achieve and promote our goal and organization. This includes:
-Newspapers
-Schools that are willing to join and help
-Volunteers

Future Projects:
We plan to set up many different fundraisers top help the homeless. This includes car washes, lemonade stands, bakery sells, and more activities that are designed and can be done by children. This gives them the chance to help out in our organization. We also would like to sponsor fundraisers such as Sally Fostor to raise money or build houses for the homeless.

Background History
Our organization, Streets Are No Home, was founded by Elizabeth Charles in 1935. "I saw hundreds of homeless men, woman, and even children lying on the streets begging for food and clothing. Each day went by as just another fight for survival. How could someone live this way? With no place to call 'Home Sweet Home'. I knew something had to be done," Elizabeth described. She started a small group of five ladies that would raise money by fundraising to help the homeless. This organization just grew and grew: now over a hundred people have joined Streets Are No Home and are helping the less fortunate all over the country.

Success Stories
Streets Are No Home has impacted many people and has had a lot of success during the past years. We have helped 532 homeless buy a home, or get a job to help them have enough money to survive and raise a family. We hope to make this number just grow and grow. Some stories of our accomplishments include helping a young child find a home after being left on the streets, and helping a young man, Lucas Stone, find a job to help him raise his family. Although our first mission and the begining of this organization was helping the Blemar Family find a home. They were living on the streets of New York for 5 years with 2 children until we found them and started fundraising. Now they live in a good home and are all healthy and there children finished college and are now beginning there own families.
